Associates at Life Care Center of Red Bank in Chattanooga, Tennessee, were recognized on Nov. 18 for 2016 Nursing Home Caregiver Appreciation Day.
Tennessee designated the day to honor nursing home workers across the state, and Life Care Center of Red Bank used the opportunity to host a reception for associates and present its own Caregiver of the Year Award.
In January 2017, Ed Ellett came to Life Care Center of Red Bank in Chattanooga, Tennessee, for rehabilitation after developing an infection in his spine.

Life Care sponsored a team for the fundraiser competition, which took place at The Farm in Rocky Face, Georgia. As a team, the skilled nursing and rehab company contributed $2,000 toward Erlanger’s new Children’s Hospital. The tournament raised $220,000 for the new building.
Jennifer Simpson, was admitted to Life Care Center of Red Bank, Tennessee, on March 16, 2017, after suffering a stroke following a routine surgery.

Adrian Hullander, licensed practical nurse at Life Care Center of Red Bank, Tennessee, bought pictures and decorations on Mother’s Day for a resident who didn’t have anything on the walls of her room. Hullander also brought her a vase with flowers to help the resident feel at home....
Approximately 80 seniors from throughout the community attended the fun-filled event, including residents of assisted living, independent living and retirement facilities.
On March 23, 2016, several associates from Life Care Center of Red Bank in Chattanooga, Tennessee, participated in the Chattanooga Chamber Expo and Small Business Awards Luncheon.
The event was held at the Chattanooga Convention Center and featured more than 900 exhibitors from all over the area. More than 3,000 visitors attended the expo and gathered information from the various vendors.
On Feb. 12, 2016, Mina Phelps, a longtime resident at Life Care Center of Red Bank in Chattanooga, Tennessee, celebrated her 102nd birthday.
Phelps was surrounded by some of her favorite nurses, CNAs and therapists. She enjoyed birthday cake and received balloons and a birthday card signed by all.
